Accounting Department Head
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS in Accountancy, Accounting Technology and Accounting related course
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Has at least five years of progressively responsible experience in banking industry
- Has comprehensive knowledge in BSP regulations, circular, accounting standards, bank operations, government and regulatory policies, procedures, income tax, financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Has excellent skills in financial planning and budgeting; and possess a strategic mindset
- Has adequate knowledge with IT jargons and IT related processes
- Has experience with system improvements and enhancements
- Has good people management skills and values teamwork
Responsibilities
- The Accounting Department Head is primarily responsible for managing the financial information/reporting of the bank and directly assisting the Retail Lending Department on all strategic and tactical matters relating to budget management, cost benefits analysis and forecasting needs. He/She assists in performing tasks necessary to achieve the bank’s goal and mission.
